Devoted followers of the actress are urging that a person who leaped a barricade and touched the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or removed from Singapore.

A viral footage depicts the Australian man shoving aside media personnel and charging at Grande while the performers walked down a yellow carpet flanked by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the surprised star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "released after being arrested", though court documents indicated that he was scheduled to appear on the next day. It is not clear if he was charged.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram feed includes videos of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney show in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last December.

"Measures must be taken applied against him as this is clearly a legal violation," commented an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" a different Instagram user remarked.

Fans Voice Worry Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Numerous followers accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed dealing with PTSD after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and wounding hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented one more comment on Instagram.

Several attendees also criticised guards at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while others requested digital services to ban Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Event Details

In videos circulating online, Grande looked surprised when she was grabbed by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted consoling her while Mr Wen was led out by security.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the premiere activities proceeded as normal.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Hundreds of Singapore fans had lined up to see the performers of Wicked

Hundreds of fans had assembled in a crowd of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international debut in a Singapore mall, including several who had queued for as long as a significant duration before it began.

The movie, to be premiered on November 21, is the second of a two-part version of the well-known Broadway and West End musical Wicked, which revolves around the unlikely bond between two contrasting characters.

The production itself is a derivative of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the character Glinda Glinda, was adorned in a champagne pink glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who acts as the Elphaba, wore a sleek black dress featuring roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the highest-grossing movie of 2024 in the UK, and received a dozen Oscar nominations, earning two for outstanding attire and production design.
