Arsenal Host Wolverhampton Wanderers in Key English Top Division Encounter
All eyes turn for a compelling top-flight contest as front-runners the Gunners entertain struggling Wolves to the Emirates Stadium.
Team News
Mikel Arteta's side have introduced three changes following the side that endured a 2-1 defeat at Villa Park in their previous outing. William Saliba, Viktor Gyökeres and the Brazilian winger are all included in the starting eleven. The captain and the Spanish midfielder are named on the bench, while Riccardo Calafiori is absent. Saliba is back after sitting out five matches due to injury.
Wolves also make three adjustments to their lineup following being heavily defeated 4-1 at home by Manchester United last time out. The experienced full-back, João Gomes and the South Korean forward start. Ki-Jana Hoever and Jhon Arias are on the substitutes, while Bellegarde is not in the squad altogether.

The Setup
Good evening! Because, c’mon …
The standings tells a stark picture. The hosts sit proudly at the summit of the table, while their opponents prop up the division.
… yet while this will be the 42nd occasion the top side have played the team at the foot of the division – with 30 out of 41, with seven draws – which team is behind two of the four all-time upsets? Indeed, Wolverhampton Wanderers, that’s who! So while Mikel Arteta will undoubtedly be expecting another three points, Rob Edwards must know that underdogs occasionally find the target, and anything is possible. The start is at 8 o'clock in the evening GMT. It’s on!
(The other two last-over-first victories in the modern top-flight era are Oldham Athletic's 1-0 win over United in March 1993, and Tottenham Hotspur – yeah, a surprising one - defeating Liverpool in November 2008.)
